Talent management can provide a significant competitive edge by supporting the strategic goals of your organization. This seminar will show you how to go beyond simple benchmarking to a more strategic and uniquely functional approach to talent management. Designing and implementing a world-class talent management system is the focus of this course. Drawing upon a broad range of organizations and the latest thinking, participants will learn about best practices and pitfalls across the full spectrum of components -- high potential pools, linchpin or pivot roles, metrics, tracking systems, and talent strategies. Participants examine out-of-the-box approaches which challenge conventional wisdom. This seminar is a pragmatic, application-oriented experience for designing and implementing talent management processes.
