Most GCC countries rely heavily on guest workers. However, the conditions for employment among Nationals of GCCC and foreigners differ vastly. To what extent, this situation is likely to influence justice perceptions among the guest workers, given that justice perception is an antecedent of numerous work-related attitudes and behaviors.
This is a great question and definitely worthy of an examination. I wonder if any of our other members have access to a sample of such employees. You could also extend this to other employee-organizational exchange variables such as perceived organizational support.
Thanks James, I collected a sample of 798 employees both Saudi and guest workers to examine justice perception, job satisfaction, self reported performance, organizational commitment, and turnover intentions. I have already examined the impact of justice perception on job satisfaction and self-perceived performance (paper under review) for possible publication. Currently, I am examining the relationships among justice perception, organizational commitment and turnover intentions among Saudi Vs guest workers. Organizational support is also very important, I will explore that.
