Thanks James. I am extremely honored to join HRM the Journal forum. I will update the members about the HRM practices in the Middle East, namely the topical HRM issues in this region. Currently, I am leading a research on Organizational Justice and its link to employees' satisfaction, performance, commitment and turnover intention.

Good to see you on the Forum. I worked in the GCC between 1985- 2005 including Heading HRM at Al Rajhi Bank (only non Saudi to have held that post). I am on the Review panel of KFUPM and regularly publish on HRM in the GCC- as well as on other parts of Asia. There is a call for papers on Equality and Diversity in the 'Middle East' from an international business journal. Would you like a copy of the call for papers?

I can imagine it is difficult to find female employees. I had to find UAE local female managers. Well, I used personal contacts a lot and snowball sampling. But the funny thing was that I often had to explain my interview questions to their male bosses or father or husband before the interview could take place. So one way to approach them is through men! Also I contacted Business Women Councils but as we both know I guess, such not-for-profit organizations can be pretty inactive. But if you want I can send my 1st artcile to you on the email. That was a content analysis taking together the researches that are published about Women in management in the Arab region.

Hi again! I am will definitely search your articles. I have pubished just one "Women in management in the Arab region", 2008, Education, Business and Society: Contemporary Middle Eastern Issues, Vol.1 No.1. Currently I have my paper "Arab Women and the message of the veil" submitted to teh same journal as you did: Gender in Management (former Women in Management). My sample is also UAE national women, so the journal has two papers of the same sample, interesting. My paper talked about identity formation through clothing in managerial careers. I see that we really have many topic in common and this is wonderful.
