I would love to meet with you to discuss. We can alos collaborate across the miles until then. What ideas do you have. I am always looking for more ideas to expand our work, whether as a group or separately. For instance, within the GCERG we have members separately looking at entrepreneurship, and others separately looking at military differences.
For instance, on my own, separately, I gather data using the values, attitudes towards women and type A behaviors and gender (Bem Sex Role Inventory) on high school students.
I just used those instruments to gather data from 150 or so high school senior students in the last week of school in Northern California. I surveyed these same students when they were freshman (grade nine).
I am also half way through a paper on acculturation. I was able to work with one of my students to gather data on Filipinos living in the PI, 1st generation Filipino immigrants living in the US and 2nd generation Filipino immigrants living in the US. I plan to explore the impact of acculturation and compare to US respondents.
I have the research completed, and am now working on the Literature Review.
What are some of your ideas?
Thanks
Ed
