About Me:
I am Assistant Professor in the Department of Managing People in Organizations at IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. Previously, I lived in Australia where I obtained my Ph.D. from the University of Melbourne.

My research focuses on how organizations access, maintain and leverage knowledge resources, primarily from a multinational and cross-cultural perspective. For example, in my Ph.D. I examined the role of inpatriates as cross-unit knowledge agents in multinational companies and the resulting implications for international HRM. My research has been published in the International Journal of Human Resource Management, International Business Review and the Journal of International Business Studies.

I have also been involved in various consulting projects entrepreneurial activities in Germany, France and Singapore.

Hi Sebastian -- sorry we didn't catch up at AoM. Its a crazy thing! An endurance event.
Are you going to EIASM Workshop in Gran Canaria in October?

Hi Sebastian,

Nice to see you (virtually at least). I hope all is well. You must be busy preparing for the upcoming conference! Hugh is attending but unfortunately I can't make it. I am in Zurich that week.

Best wishes

Dave

I see, so you are involved in ego-networks of inpatriates. Intersting. My work is complementary. I currently examine how HR practices affect complete intra-organizational networks, but I have also done some exploratory work on the position of HR actors in knowledge networks (published in international journal of manpower).

Sebastian,

we seem to share similar research interests. Could you tell me more about your current research?

Best wishes,

Robert
